Accelerate Your Progress.
See The Change.
High-impact single-weekend therapy for individuals and couples in Denver, Colorado.
Get to the root of painful patterns and relational dynamics rapidly so you can move on with life.
What Are Intensive Therapy Weekends?
You want relief now.
Maybe you feel stuck. Or maybe you want to jump-start or accelerate progress on your healing journey.
Our Intensive Therapy Weekends offer high-impact, focused, in-depth psychotherapy delivered over the course of a single weekend. This format allows you to get out of your daily routine and devote sustained attention to changing the underlying patterns, emotions, and relational dynamics that benefit from deeper work.
These retreats are not workshops, but private, individualized therapy conducted by one of our clinical experts. They are tailored to you and structured collaboratively around your goals.
Condense months of therapeutic progress down into a single weekend.
Why Choose a Weekend Intensive?
Because it’s faster than weekly therapy.
In weekly therapy sessions, progress usually unfolds gradually. While effective, time can be lost in "warming up," and important material often surfaces just as time runs out.
An intensive retreat format allows us to remain with the work long enough to create profound shifts,
without dragging it out for months.
Clarify Patterns
Identify and clarify core emotional and relational patterns that hold you back.
Explore
Dynamics
Safely explore underlying pain
and trauma in a supportive,
sustained environment.
Break Cycles
Work through trauma and entrenched
cycles at their root, rather than simply managing symptoms.
Integrate Insight
Bridge the gap between intellectual understanding and lived emotional experience.
What Concerns Can Be Addressed?
Weekend Intensive Therapy Retreats are well suited for individuals seeking focused work on a range of specific, deep-rooted concerns such as:
Anxiety & Stress
Relationship & Attachment Issues
Depression & Mood Disorders
Life Transitions & Identity
Trauma & PTSD
Self-Esteem & Confidence
Addictions
Grief & Loss
And more…
Is This Format a Good Fit?
A Weekend Intensive may be a good fit if you:
Are busy and can’t take time off from work or family life for regular weekly therapy
Just want to finally move the needle
Seek a concentrated format rather than (or in addition to) weekly pacing
Feel ready to gain both new insight and corrective emotional experience
Want traction on a specific pattern or concern
This format is not appropriate for individuals experiencing any degree of suicidality or acute crisis, substance instability, unmanaged psychosis or mania, ongoing domestic violence, or other issues requiring more supportive treatment. If that is the case, we will help you identify appropriate next steps.

How Do We Do It?
We use a variety of methods tailored to your needs and desires.
EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing)
EMDR helps the brain process and resolve distressing memories that continue to affect present-day thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. Rather than relying primarily on talk, EMDR uses guided eye movement while you briefly focus on aspects of a memory, allowing the brain to reprocess it in a more adaptive way.
As “stuck” memories are reprocessed in this way, they lose their emotional intensity and become integrated into a broader, more balanced perspective. Over time, this reduces distress, strengthens resilience, and supports more adaptive ways of relating to yourself and others.
Emotion-Focused Therapy (EFT)
Emotion-Focused Therapy (EFT) helps individuals access, process, and transform their core emotional experiences and patterns. Rather than avoiding or overthinking emotion, we work collaboratively to slow down and turn toward what you are actually feeling, including emotions that may be outside of awareness or difficult to fully experience.
In this approach, emotions are understood as meaningful signals that point to deeper needs and past learning. By identifying and processing core emotional experiences, therapy helps shift long-standing patterns in how you relate to yourself and others. This fosters greater emotional clarity, self-trust, and lasting change at the level of lived experience.
Psychodynamic Therapy (PDT)
Psychodynamic therapy focuses on understanding how unconscious patterns, past relationships, and early experiences shape your current thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. Rather than only addressing surface-level symptoms, we explore recurring themes in your inner life and relationships, including patterns that may operate outside of your awareness.
In this approach, the therapeutic relationship becomes a space to observe and work through these patterns as they emerge in real time. By bringing insight and emotional experience together, therapy helps loosen rigid patterns, deepen self-understanding, and support more flexible, authentic ways of relating to yourself and others over time.
